• Interaction Data: We collect the choices you make within stories and your chat inputs to the AI. This is necessary to maintain story continuity and improve the AI’s performance.

• Device Information: We collect basic technical data (device model, OS version, and unique device identifiers) to ensure the app runs smoothly on your iPhone.

• Payment Data: All financial transactions are processed through the Apple App Store. We do not store your credit card information on our servers.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To Provide the Service: To "remember" your story progress and deliver personalized AI responses.

• To Improve Fated: We use anonymized interaction data to train our narrative models and fix bugs.

• Safety & Compliance: To monitor for activities that violate our Terms of Service or local laws.

• Non-Identification: While the AI "reads" your inputs to respond in character, we strive to strip personally identifiable information from the data used for general model improvements.

• Third-Party AI Providers: We may use third-party processors to power our platform. These partners are prohibited from using your data for their own independent purposes.

As a company based in Vancouver, BC, we comply with the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).

• Your data may be stored on secure servers located in Canada or the United States.

• Deletion: You can request the deletion of your account and all associated story data at any time via the in-app settings.

• Access: You have the right to request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.

• Tracking: We respect Apple’s App Tracking Transparency (ATT). We will ask for your permission before tracking your activity across other companies' apps or websites.

6. Children’s Privacy

Fated is intended for a mature audience (17+). We do not knowingly collect data from children under the age of 13. If we discover such data has been collected, it will be deleted immediately.
