Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading or using the Fated mobile application (“the App”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. Apple App Store Requirements

  • Acknowledgement: You acknowledge that these Terms are between you and Fated only, and not with Apple. Fated is solely responsible for the App and its content.

  • Scope of License: You are granted a non-transferable license to use the App on any Apple-branded products that you own or control.

  • Maintenance and Support: Fated is solely responsible for providing maintenance and support services. Apple has no obligation whatsoever to furnish any maintenance and support services for the App.

3. AI-Generated Content

  • Nature of Content: Fated provides interactive stories where responses may be generated by Artificial Intelligence. While we strive for a high-quality "romantasy" experience, you acknowledge that AI-generated text may occasionally be unpredictable.

  • Roleplay & Boundaries: The App is intended for entertainment purposes. Users are expected to interact with characters within the spirit of the story.

  • No Professional Advice: No content in the App should be construed as professional, medical, or legal advice.

4. User Conduct & Safety

To keep the community safe and the stories immersive, you agree not to:

  • Use the App to generate or share "Illegal Content" (as defined by local laws).

  • Attempt to reverse-engineer the AI or bypass safety filters.

  • Use the App if you are under the age of 17 (or the age rating specified on the App Store).

5. Intellectual Property

  • Our Content: All stories, character names, logos, and AI-generated narratives are the property of Fated or its licensors.

  • Your Choices: You retain ownership of the specific choices you make, but the resulting narrative flow remains the intellectual property of Fated.

6. Subscription & Payments

  • If you purchase a subscription via Apple In-App Purchases, payment will be charged to your Apple Account.

  • Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.

  • Manage your subscriptions in your App Store Account Settings.

7. Limitation of Liability

Fated is provided "as is." To the maximum extent permitted by law, Fated shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from your use of the AI or the App.
